The Lodge

Where the Jungle Meets the Indian Ocean

Situated lagoon-side at the base of a small mountain, the lodge commands a vista over one of Indonesia's most coveted surfing locations. Open-plan post-and-beam construction fuses local North Sumatran style with western comfort.

The bar and lounge is the epicentre of good vibes — coffees in the morning, post-surf recovery after lunch, beers and hilarity in the evening. All-inclusive meals feature seafood pulled from the ocean that morning, tropical fruits, and dishes that fuse Indonesian tradition with western favourites.

The Indian Ocean is stirring. Early-season swells are stacking up on the charts and the boats are prepped. 4-6ft on the south-facing reefs with light offshores. GTs and Max's Right will be firing. A few spots still open on Trip 2 and Trip 3.
